We make special achievements in studies, research and teaching visible: with prizes and awards, the Friends of the TU Kaiserslautern association honours achievements such as outstanding final theses and dissertations, as well as successful and exciting scientific reports by students and employees.

The Friends of the TU Kaiserslautern association is a strong community of around 1,500 individuals (members of the university, alumni, private individuals associated with the university) and around 130 companies from the city, region and beyond Rhineland-Palatinate.

Become a member

Get involved in helping your university, the TU Kaiserslautern: support excellence in science, research and teaching. Promote young academics. Become a member of the Friends of the TU Kaiserslautern association. In our association, you will find a forum for exchanges with students, scientists and representatives from business and society. The Friends of the TU Kaiserslautern association offers an active, lively network within the TUK family.

    Freundeskreis der RPTU in Kaiserslautern e. V. as a:

    (The minimum annual membership fee is EUR 10 for youths, students and apprentices,
    EUR 30 for individual members and EUR 100 for companies. For individual donations up to EUR 200, a so-called simple proof of donation (bank statement) is sufficient for the German tax authorities.)
